Vision Insurance - Santa Rosa
This office is currently In-Network and accepts Spectera vision insurance for eye examinations in our office inside the Santa Rosa Costco. Spectera is often connected with Optum Health, Secure Horizons and United Healthcare. Please call our office to confirm your eligibility information prior to your eye care appointment. While the Costco Optical does not currently accept Spectera insurance, you may be able to receive out-of-network reimbursements for eyeglasses &/or contact lenses. It is recommended that you confirm this with your human resources department. Or you can take your eyewear prescription to another Spectera provider that dispenses eyewear materials.
We also accept vision insurance for eye exams for Costco employees and family.
For most other vision insurances this office uses a service called Patch, through which we can check eligibility and benefits that can be applied toward our exam charges, and process the exam claim for our patients. The vision insurance company will then send a check to either you or us for that amount. While out of network benefits may be somewhat less than in network, it is common for our existing and new patients to use this service. Then our patients are free to take their eyeglasses &/or contact lens prescription wherever they would like. Most patients choose the convenience and value and go next door to the Costco Optical. Costco Optical departments have received numerous good reviews on the eye care materials that they provide.
If the Patch service is unsuccessful, some vision plans may allow you to submit the receipts from our office for their out-of-network reimbursement rate. It is recommended that you first confirm this with your human resources department.
